Southern Swing Challenge is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, body size, race, religious affiliation (or lack thereof), or physical appearance. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Those found to violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organizers.
Harassment includes but is not limited to deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and offensive verbal comments.
We expect that everyone own their actions and language. If someone lets you know, verbally or non-verbally, that they are feeling uncomfortable, check your behavior, apologize sincerely, and make a change.
If you are being harassed, if you notice that someone else is being harassed, or if you have any other concerns at Southern Swing Challenge, you can talk to Jenna Applegarth or Bethany Potter or send an email to email@example.com. If you cannot find Jenna or Bethany or do not know who they are, feel free to reach out to other SSC staff or volunteers. We value you and your safety.
